Creating a new batch
To begin entering a new Batch into the system, simply click on the “Batch” link found on the
Upper left hand Menu of the screen, then click on “Add New” button:
This will open up the Batch definition screen:
The Batch definition represents the header level information that applies to the overall Batch. This information is generally applicable to all batches. The batch creation is the first step of the process and it is used for creating a bucket that will contain all the imported sales information from the different modules in e-business suite.
All fields are required prior to saving the batch definition.
